Chinese New Year Celebration Fundraiser Dinner Cancelled 新年籌款晚會取消通知

由於疫情狀況的不明朗，今年的新春晚會正式宣佈取消。晚會入場券如以支票付款，協會會把支票作廢退還，以現金支付的請於秋季開學時到教務處領回。如有不便請見諒，感謝大家的支持。

Due to the uncertainty with COVID-19 related shutdown, CCALI has officially canceled Chinese New Year Dinner Fundraiser for this year. In regards to the admission tickets refund, the association will void all check payments and return them to payers, for payments in cash, please come to the administrative office to obtain your refund when school starts in the Fall Semester of 2020-21 school year. We apologize for any inconveniences and thank you for your support.

在過去的ㄧ週裡，社區內因為武漢肺炎的疫情而擔憂，長島文協也一直密切的關注著。雖然目前紐約州並無任何確診病人，但由於所有文協大家庭成員們的健康與安全對我們來說是最為重要的，所以協會與學校還是決定原訂二零二零年二月一日的新年籌款晚會將予以延期。

關於晚會新的日期及其他細節，我們在確認之後將會立刻通知各位。真心感謝所有朋友們對協會跟學校持續的支持與關注。我們衷心希望大家都能平安健康，希望疫情能盡快平息，社會恢復平靜。

As we hear more about the Novel Coronavirus in the past week, the association and school had been paying close attention to the situation, even though there are no confirmed cases in New York State so far, we still made the decision to postpone our Chinese New Year Celebration Fundraiser Dinner that was scheduled for 2/1/2020 to a later date. We are taking all precautionary measures to ensure safety for all of our members and their families.

We will communicate the new event date and other details with a follow-up notice as soon as it is determined. Thank you everyone for your understanding and continuous support! We hope everyone stay healthy and safe, including all the people around the globe.
