This Week (11 of 30)

Taste of Thanksgiving
Our first Taste of Thanksgiving event was a huge success! We had more than 20 parents who contributed delicious dishes from around the world, as well as the parents who rushed in way before 2:00pm and started buying, our first sold out dish was emptied before 2pm! Thanks to the coordinator, Lisa and Michael Kong, for organizing and putting this together. We were able to raise approximately $560 in total which contributes to the school funding!
Congratulations to the top 3 chefs who received most food tickets for their dishes: Karen Fang (Korean Spicy Sticky Rice Cakes and Basque Burnt Cheesecake), Yifang Shen (Pork Floss with Puff Pastry Buns and Mini Pigs in a Blanket), Lisa Liow (Fresh Lemon Aiyu Jelly Drinks and Turkey Cupcakes)! The prizes included two bottles of wines, a toque (chef’s white hat) and apron, contributed by Chairperson Jet and President Birdy.
